Spider and The Bird April 2009

T2 participated in an extremely exciting project for the Worcestershire Theatre Festival, at Evesham Arts Centre. They performed "Spider & the Bird" by Georgia Dobbs.

The Plot.
School gang leader, Sonia, regains consciousness, having been attacked in a drugs-related gang war. Recuperating in hospital she re-evaluates her life, opting for freedom and a life away from drugs, gangs and power.

This play unravels a world where naturalism and surrealism meet, creating a strong visual and abstract quality capturing an emotionally thought provoking performance.

To publicise "Spider and the Bird" we held a competition for someone to design our poster.
The winners were Tereza Horacek and Nusrath Haque
both in yr 7 @ Bishop Perowne.
