The award winning Tremor Theatre Company was founded in 2002, it is an innovative theatre group for young people. Tremor Youth Theatre is based at Bishop Perowne Church of England College, Specialist in the performing arts, in Worcester, led by Professional Arts Practitioner Mel Lewis, who is also Senior Youth Theatre Leader at The Swan Theatre, Worcester.
We focus on the ideas and creativity of young people using their thoughts and imagination to create lively and original work. All skills are welcome from complete beginners to the more experienced! Drama classes, productions and competitions are only the beginning.
This term T1 will be working toward a small performance in the Main Theatre at Bishop Perowne C Of E College, which will be performed on Saturday 23rd March. The performance is based on myths and legends and folllows the sad tale of two children abandoned in a large lonely wood!
This term T2 are performing as part of the Worcestershire Theatre Festival at The Norbury Theatre, Droitwich on Saturday 6th April and also at Bishop Perowne C Of E College on Saturday 23rd March.
NOW is the day in the life of a teenager, using physical theatre to convey the trials and tribulations of being a teenager today. A fun and witty comedy that will resonate some truth with all teenagers past and present.
